John Asogonnde better known as John Hermit really makes a bold statement with his fight against marijuana addiction.
He is making a strong impact on the youth and working very hard to extricate people from drug abuse.
As initially promised, the award winning author decided to donate a percentage of profits from his book "Breaking Up With Mary Jane" to the Mental Health Authority in Ghana.
On Thursday 28th November, he presented them a sum of GH₵1,500 and 50 copies of the book.
The CEO of the Authority, Dr Akwasi Osei upon receiving the donation complimented John on his kind gesture, encouraged him to stay focused on the project ahead and pledged full support from the Mental Health Authority to that effect.
"Breaking Up With Mary Jane" is a self-help book that seeks to educate the youth on dangers of marijuana addiction and substance abuse.
Meanwhile, the MTN Ghana Foundation has purchased 1,000 copies already and it would be amazing to see other corporate bodies in the country partner with John Hermit in changing lives and promoting a better lifestyle among young people.
