The NDC Constituency Secretary for Daffiama Bussie Issa in the Upper West Region, Mr James Wor has confirmed to ModernGhana the murder of their Chairman.
Mr Poulabong Bayiilela, the Constituency Chairman of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the area has been shot dead by an unknown assailants on his way from a funeral.
Mr Poulabong Bayiilela Richard, 52, was on Wednesday night May 8, 2019 shot in his car by unknown assailants.
His body has since been deposited at the Upper West Regional hospital mortuary.
Effort by Modernghana to speak to the Regional police was unsuccessful.
But our source say the Regional police command is on a manhunt to apprehend the perpetrators.
