For a government whose Campaign and Victory was much dependent on a media herald, one would not be so surprised to see every ounce of government business out there in the media. But when these processes of commitment to transparency defy due process and recognition of the very dignity of persons who fall casualties to some delicate government decisions, one stops to wonder if there be any regard for the many women we are in bed with as men, once there be a fallout.

Yes indeed, the ''konkonsa'' media would be quick to propagate any item; especially once they can easily draw sources from what has become an ever anonymous "deep throat source," for prominence within the news business.

Yet indeed, governments, that thrive on bureaucratic provisions and protocols must be seen to respect the Human elements who make these bureaucracies function as drivers of various agenda.

As a party that prides ourselves in with a wealth of astute men, I am just wondering how chaotic our lives would be without such recognition accorded our noble men and women at the heart of our development bids.

This piece from the reflections and lamentations of Ghanaians and grassroots in good standing, has been necessitated further due to an error situation, gradually gaining grounds in my beloved Akufo-Addo government. Making advances towards another campaign season, I strongly believe this is good enough a time to raise flags and to attempt at least, to conscientize all the hardworking appointees out there, driving the change agenda on the possible nature of their dismissal ahead, especially in the face of past and current trends. Lest we end up receiving surprises that could create more slain and wounded patriots which can only lead to the curse situation of returning mother Ghana to the caterpillar and canker worm lots at the opposite side.

To be forthright, I'd say, cunningly leaking of information to the media before it actually gets to the victims in the event of a dismissal; especially even over unsubstantiated and frivolous claims by elements within the opposition, and some enemies of our good governance in their disgruntled selfs, is a very unfair, insensitive, autocratic, disrespectful and ungrateful act if we would acknowledge the little good at least, in these appointees as human beings first, and their various offices.

Just like the unacceptable situation now, where actively working appointees; some of whom are doing tremendously well for God and Country like the Director General for Ghana Health Service, Dr Anthony Nsiah-Asare and Mr Kofi Jumah of GIHOC with some six other nobles are being forced to retire via media publications, a typical case in the past has been the issue of a former GEPA boss and MP, Hon Gifty Klenam.

In the particular matter, the good woman and mother of many, was known widely to have been sacked by the media and was surprisingly pursued for interviews; at a time she was busy at post and yet to receive any official communiques over what has eventually been declared a false allegation by the Auditor General and EOCO who set out to investigate the matter. I am wondering at all, what compensation this government can offer the poor woman for such image daunting publication she's been vindicated of.

It is interesting however, how the media tends to be right in almost all cases their sensationalism surges in matters of dismissals especially. Hon Boakye Agyarko comes to mind.

Let me quickly put across however that though I would be the first to push for the dismissal of irresponsible appointees, I cannot see my vain self with good conscience, come to terms with the repeated act of selling carcasses of loyal party folks to the public the way we do; even before officially informing those involved.

It is wrong! and does not encourage goodwill and dedication on the part of patriots who strive so hard to put our party and government on the pedestal and far ahead of the incompetent NDC.

Normally, one would expect existing appointees to take a stand against such precedence, especially taking cognisance of the fact that it could happen to them. But it becomes understandable when they also harbour fears of being eliminated by rough tactics and hence act in the highest diplomacy almost akin to bootlicking and a dry praise singing. I don't think it does any good to the President and the nation to be surrounded by such characters.

Let us strive as a government and political party, to foster unity by allowing those whose loyalty we so much need for this game of numbers, some good and fair premise to act. This is an essential trait more so needed as a nation making great strides in our democratic credentials.

It is only when people are assured of a fair and an honorable retirement and all forms of end, that we can have them function at their utmost best for mother Ghana.

Let us follow due process as a government when we are fed up of each other and have to replace the hand that once served as an anchor to our goodwill with the larger populace.

I choose to be a citizen and not a spectator!
I choose a Formidable team over a Master servant government!

NPP must succeed!
Ghana must succeed!...Cheers!
