The Municipal Chief Executive (DCE) for the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality in the Western Region, Simon Kweku Tetteh on Tuesday, 22nd January, commissioned the newly completed 6-Unit Classroom block with special ancillary facilities at Piengua Yokwenor M/A Primary.

The MCE donated 100 desks to the school.to help address the inadequate classroom furniture for sound academic activities.

Simon Kweku Tetteh expressed his heart felt appreciation to the president of the Republic of Ghana, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for giving him the opportunity to serve his people under his transformational leadership.

The MCE said his decision to enroll Piengua Yokwenor M/A School onto the school feeding Program after assuming office was to address the situation after he immediately broke grounds for the construction of the project.

Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh noted that the project comes with a 6-Unit Classrooms, W/C toilet facilities for both teachers and students, headteachers Office, ICT laboratory, store among other ancillary facilitities that are also friendly to persons with disability.

The acting Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Education Director, Mrs. Veronica Tetteh commended Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh for his maximum commitment to give a facelift to Piengua Yokwenor M/A Primary school.

The short commissioning ceremony was witnessed by high powered delegation from the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Immigration Commander, Supt./Mrs. Emelia A. Adjei and ASP./Mr. Harry Selormey, Odumase Police Commander.
