Created Political Office under the Chief of Staff at the Presidency

The office of the Chief of Staff has created a Political Affairs Unit on the ground floor of the Jubilee House, with Mr Emmanuel Asiedu Bekoe, (alias Protozoa) as head of this so called Uni

My layman's understanding of a Political Affairs Unit at the Presidency is for such an office to deal with all political matters that would arise and promptly resolve them.

Last week, a political incident happened between some Delta Force members and Hon. Anthony Akoto Osei (the MP of Tafo-Pankrono Constituency).

Yet, the head of the created Political Affairs Unit at the Presidency, Emmanuel Asiedu Bekoe, is completely at a loss as to what role to play, how to approach it, and how to resolve such an issue.

Protozoa only walks up and down the aisle of the ground floor offices where his office is located, and usually up and down the office of the Chief of Staff.

Bekoe is neither able to resolve any political matters nor help in finding placements for Party members who qualify for political appointments

Protozoa is such a lazy, inept, and incompetent political office holder that on many occasions he deserts his office, goes to sit in his official V8 Land Cruiser, starts the engine, turns on the air-condition, switches off his phone, and sleeps. His reason for doing this is that too many people come to see him so it is his way of avoiding them.

Emmanuel Asiedu Bekoe, (aka Protozoa) was the NPP Ayawaso West secretary when the Chief of Staff Frema Opare was their MP.

When Sir John was the NPP’s General Secretary, Protozoa was his secretary.

Today he is in charge of political affairs at the office of the Chief of Staff, but he's absolutely clueless concerning his responsibilities.

Together with the Chief of Staff, they're responsible for the directionless and the collapsing of the Akufo-Addo administration.

If the NPP returns into opposition after only one term in office, such square pegs in round holes (and many more) should be held responsible.

But should we wait for them to take us back to opposition?
