Success will always come at a cost, the biggest question is, are you willing to pay the cost?

Whatever it is you desire to achieve (big or small) will always come at cost. The reason why most us fail is at times we are not willing to pay the cost of success. Nothing will come to you easily. Nothing will be handed to you on a silver platter unless you are born into a huge family fortune. All things you desire will come to you unless you are willing to pay the price.

Think of this you enter into a shop and you want to buy bread, if only you have the money to purchase the bread, you will have to leave the shop with no bread unless you steal. Same principle with whatever it is you desire. The double story house, the cars, it will all come at a cost and success if you really desire to achieve you have to be willing to pay the cost.

Be willing to pay the cost by Work Hard
Success only comes to those that take the time to work for it. Nothing bits talent than hard work and the money that you enjoy the most is the money that has come out of the fruits of your labour because you understand the labour you went through for you to get such money. If you want success be willing and ready to work. Nothing will come to a man comfortably seated and doing nothing. The bible says, "a little sleep a little slumber and poverty will fall before you like an armed man." If you desire to be the best in your field, make a fortune, get that job, pass that exam then be prepared to work. Be ready to practice, to sell, sent out those CVs, study each day consistently even when you do not feel like it. It will always come at a cost. The only thing that you can achieve by doing what everyone is doing is average, if you want to achieve the extra-ordinary do something different that others are not doing.(WORK HARDER).

Be willing to pay the cost with your Time
No dream worth having will come to a man who is unwilling to allocate his time to achieve his dream. – Tendai Mungate

Be ready to pay the cost with your time, be willing to put in the hours, days, months and even years to achieve your success. Usain Bolt one of the best athletes in the world would take time to each day for approximately 20 years before he entered the Olympics. You might say 20 years is a long time but remember these words, "When given five hours to cut a tree l would spend 4 hours sharpening my axe." Great successes always occur to those that are ready and well prepared to achieve it. So it might take two hours, five years or 3 months of preparation but successes of tomorrow are created by what we do today. So be willing to put in the hours.

Be ready to Sacrifice
Greatness will require you to sacrifice something; usually those that take the shortcuts to success usually sacrifice humans, animals and strange things in order to get success. Same principle but be willing to sacrifice your leisure time, at times even social life, you might have to stop associating yourself with some people in order to achieve those goals you got to achieve. The greatest success emerged from people who sacrificed a lot. Nelson Mandela sacrificed 27years of his life so that his dream of seeing a free South Africa would be achieved. What are you willing to sacrifice in order to achieve your success?

Be willing to Develop Yourself
Unless you take the required action to change your life, your life will never change unless you do. – Tendai Mungate

Make it your point to be constantly developing yourself. The greatest development any human being can ever make is developing their mind-set. The bible emphasises this with the scripture, “Be yea transformed by the renewal of your mind.” Your mind-set is the birth place of your success. You first envision it(success) in your mind before it manifests in the mind. To protect your vision or dream you need to be constantly equipping your mind with inspirational, motivational and transformational material such as audios, videos, books, the bible, articles and even friends and associations. What you feed in your mind determines how you usually perform in life, what consumes your mind consumes and reveals its self in you’re the actions we take and words we speak.

Development of the mind will position you better for success.
