Kpeve (V/R), Aug. 26, GNA - The Management of the Weto Rural Bank in the South Dayi District of the Volta Region has presented four hardworking and dedicated workers of the bank with awards. The Award included a double Decker refrigerator, a television set, a Ghetto Blaster and certificates.
Miss Georgina Adorfu, a Susu collector of the bank received a fourteen-inch colour television set and a certificate, while the Kpedze Agency of the bank was awarded a double-deck refrigerator and a certificate for being the most hardworking Agency of the bank. Miss Hilda Agbo an assistant accountant and Ibrahim Dogo, watchman, were presented with an ice chest and ghetto blaster respectively, for long service and hard work.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, Mr David Yao Kludje, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank congratulated the award winners and urged staff of the bank to emulate their shinning example. He advised the staff to learn to keep bank secrets and to put their shoulders to the wheel to enable them to win more customers for the bank.
Mr Kludje charged the award winners to encourage their colleagues to put in their maximum efforts to project the bank. Mrs Doris Nkani, a board member of the bank who presided, commended the human resource base of the bank and called for dedication, sacrifice and hard work by the staff to enhance its development.
Mrs Woyriam Boakye-Danquah, South Dayi District Chief Executive pledged the Assembly's readiness to do business with the bank. She pleaded with the management to be transparent in its operations and urged the workers to be fully committed to their work.
