Why vilify the bold in the society who have made it a point to fight corruption in public institutions? Why the several attempt to make the corrupt officials of UEW look innocent in the eyes of the public when they are not.
I may not have been here for long, but at least my 3 yrs stay in Winneba has given me much knowledge on how certain individuals who are management members impoverish the university of education and its students , while they live in luxury.
The fact is that , though we are students, once we have eyes and can read to understand, we are wildly awake and won't fall for the write-ups and releases that floods our pages every blessed day seeking to make us know how the VC and the F.O are innocent.
You have failed because, we have been the sufferers of their extortions. The series of monies they have taken from us without producing the service for which the money was taken for is enormous..
Before you come out again to claim how innocent these people are , find answers to these questions.
1. What happened to the 2 yards of cloth that was to be given to the over 2000 graduands from main campus?
Was it delivered?
Who took the cheque that was meant to be given to those who will cut the cloth into pieces for distribution?
How much money has the F.O and his cohorts invested through treasury bills and how much money has been shared among themselves from the interest on the treasury bill .
What happens to the books of the distance students and who is the master mind behind the sales of unnecessary items like tablets which do not even function well and gas no relevant document to poor students.
We may be young and far but we have brains and can't be forced to foolishly empathize with people who deserve no mercy.
Our SRC executives may be cowards because of fear of being tagged but we the students want all the world to know how unhappy we have been for sometime now and our readiness and support for whoever is ready to give us our freedom from this corrupt management members.
We wish we could meet the plaintiff and his lawyer and pay our dues to for we have been so happy about the move to the corruption in our school end.
We support whoever will fight for us. For we have suffered a lot. No one and I mean no one should he spared. And yo those who have resorted to stealing of vital documents so to exonerate anyone from the thievery blames, we warn that they take care and nave their conscience be their guide.
As a student, myself and my colleagues are ready fight to ensure the system is sanitized.
The SRC can be cowards. We won't be.
