Bechem,Techimantia Residents Goes Wild Over Bad Road Networks

Residents in Bechem and Techimantia in the Tano South District of the Brong Ahafo region have complained bitterly about Bechem to Techimantia poor road networks.

The residents said Bechem to Techimantia road is full of potholes with rough surfaces due to erosion and neglected during NDC administration.

The residents told Metro 90.5FM in Sunyani that, drivers especially, commercial ones often try to dodge the numerous potholes on the road, putting the lives of pedestrians and passengers in danger.

They also complained about the muddy and slippery nature of the roads whenever it's rained, which made it difficult for them to move freely to their destinations.

Some Drivers who ply the road expressed their frustrations about how the state of the road is damaging their car, “Arm robbers always attack us on the road” they added.

They also complained a bridge on the road which has become a death trap which if care is not taken, human lives will be lost.

“The poor road networks has affected our business activities especially we the farmers” they sated.

They appealed to the government DCE, MP in the Tano south district to give them their share of the national cake for the social-economic development of the area.
