Asesewa (E/R), Sept. 29, GNA - Mr Bismark Tetteh Nyarko, a Chartered Accountant and an aspirant contesting the Upper Manya Krobo Constituency seat of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has appealed to the members of the party in the Constituency to give him the nod to unite the party and solicit for development for the area.
He said the Constituency needed a leader who could mobilize the youth and challenge them to help in the development of the area.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Mr Nyarko said the Upper Manya Krobo is a new district and under developed, but believes the abundant resources in the area would be attractive to many Non-Governmental Organization (NGOs) and people to invest in, to create jobs for the numerous youth in the area.
He said if he is given the nod come November 7, he would engage all relevant stakeholders in the Constituency to ensure that the development of the area becomes paramount to everybody.
Mr Nyarko said he comes in at a time when the constituency was faced with many divisions and assured the Party members of unifying all members ahead of the 2016 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
He said it was time the NDC in Upper Manya Krobo Constituency became strong and united to get more votes for the Presidential candidate of the Party.
Mr Nyarko is contesting with the incumbent, Mr Jeff Tetteh Kavianu and Mr Azu Raymond Tetteh.
