Rickman Projects Ltd Awarded In Switzerland

A fast growing Ghanaian company-Rickman Projects Limited has been awarded in Switzerland for its excellence at this year's International Star for Quality Convention which took place in Geneva a few days ago.

The company which through its well trained and highly experienced persons provides specialized Structural, Mechanical, Pipe Installation, Fabrication, Steel Erection, Civil and Architectural engineering for the Mining, Manufacturing and Energy sectors received the International Star Award for Quality in “Gold Category.”

The CEO/Head of Operations-Mr. Eric Kweku Ankomah who received the award on behalf of the company said, he was extremely excited that the hard work of the various employees and the excellence of the company have been internationally recognized.

The International Star for Quality Convention which is in its 16^th year is part of the annual program of BID Awards, designed to recognize the prestige of the outstanding companies, organizations, and businessmen in the business world.

This year the International Star for Quality Convention took place in Geneva, from September 19th to 20^th---and the ISAQ Awards were handed out at a ceremony in the InterContinental Genève Convention Center.

The event was attended by prestigious companies from 74 countries, together with leaders from different business fields, professionals from the worlds of economics, the arts and corporate image, quality experts, as well as academic personalities and representatives from the diplomatic corps.

Rickman Project Limited which was established in 2006 has been a sub-contractor of Newmont Ghana Gold Ltd, Ahafo since August 2008 to date and renders services such as Rubber Lining, Installation & Maintenance, Welding & Fabrication, Steel Erection, Sandblasting & Spraying at the C I L Plant.

Also, Rickman Projects Ltd has been working with Metso Minerals Ghana Ltd, for diverse projects and in some instances works on their breakdown equipments in various mining sectors at Burkina Faso and in Ghana.

The company has won multiple awards for its excellence with the latest being this; International Star Award for Quality in “Gold Category”---and works with the big names in the Mining, Manufacturing and Energy industries.
