NDC Boateng won't get NDC forms today or tomorrow; NPP can take him - Koku
SEP 8, 2015 LISTEN

A deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Koku Anyidoho has unequivocally stated that George Boateng would not be allowed to contest president John Mahama for the party's flagbearership.

Mr. Boateng has promised to legalise the sale and exportation of marijuana (wee). But his intention for the country has angered the party. Many have questioned his mental stability.

“We will not sell our presidential primary forms to anybody who wants to legalise the sale and export of wee," Mr. Anyidoho told Joy News Tuesday.

George Boateng, who is a branch youth organizer of the NDC was indeed refused nomination forms today at the party’s headquarters. He had gone to pick the presidential form after it turned out that what he picked a fortnight ago was a draft copy.

Anyidoho was emphatic that nobody can coerce the party to sell the forms to George Boateng.

“We do not condone the export of wee…If the NPP wants him as their flag-bearer, fine,” he stated.

The deputy General Secretary restated to his boss' suggestion that Mr. Boateng’s mental capacity is questionable.

“Obviously there is something wrong with him”, he said, adding that the party is ready to give forms to anybody of “sound mind…and nobody is going to cut off our head”.
