Ghana U-23 goalkeeper Richard Ofori has received a call-up to train with the Black Stars ahead of the 2017 AFCON qualifying match against Mauritius on Sunday, a statement from the Ghana FA on Monday has revealed.
The Wa All Stars shot stopper was impressive for the Black Meteors as they sealed qualification to the All African Games to be staged in Congo and missed out of an opportunity to qualify for next year's Olympic games in Brazil.
His performances caught the attention of the Black Stars technical team who have invited him to join goalkeeping duo Fatau Dauda and Ernest Sowah with Razak Brimah yet to report to camp.
Brimah will report to camp on Monday as he was on club duties in Spain.
Ofori will not be part of Black Stars team that will take on Togo in a friendly on Monday but will train with the senior national team ahead of Sunday's qualifier.
