Ghana have qualified for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations finals but Middlesbrough winger Albert Adomah has dropped out of the picture.
Adomah went to Brazil with the Black Stars in the summer but was a fringe figure and came on just once for a brief cameo off the bench in a 2-1 defeat to the USA.
He has since not featured for Ghana and the dismissal of then head coach Kwesi Appiah has affected his chances.
Stop-gap coach Maxwell Konadu did not invite him to play in the last round of qualifying games despite impressing at club level.
With Israeli Avram Grant set to be appointed, Adomah could be invited and gatecrash Ghana's squad.
It is not out of the question he could yet be called up for the finals but Grant has shown no interest so far.
