A non-denominational service was held at Phillips Clinic, Cantonment, Accra, on Monday concerning the cremation of Dr. H. H. Phillips, former Dean of the Ghana Medical School, Korle Bu.
Dr. Phillips, who was also past president of the Ghana Medical Association, died in London after a protracted illness.
The service was officiated by the Reverend Canon S.R.S. Nicholas, Anglican Chaplain of the University of Ghana, Legon.
A thanks-giving service will be held at the Ridge Church, Accra, on May 29, as part of the funeral arrangements.
