Watch Your Tongue

“What you say can preserve life or destroy it; so you must accept the consequences of your words” Proverbs 18:21 GNB

Being born again or yet to be, there is power in what you say with your mouth. But it becomes more effective when you become a child of God- believing in the teachings and doctrines about our Lord and personal savior of the world, Jesus Christ.

Perhaps, it could be a probability that some people are responsible for the current crises as a result of certain unaware pronouncements, declarations or thoughts uttered some days ago without noticing it's positively or negative reactions both in the physical and spiritual realms of the spirit. The power to invite either good or bad tidings lies on your tongue.

To put the icing on the cake, Deuteronomy 30:19 tells us “I am now giving you the choice between life and death, between God's blessings and God's curse, and I call heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Choose life”

This is well expounded. The last two words of the scripture 'Choose life' cautions us not only on how we take decisions in our lives, but to also watch the kind utterances from our mouth and to others as well.

As a Christian or yet to be, watch what you say and always be positive minded in order to avoid discouragements, fear and anxiety.

Study the word of God daily
Enjoy the fellowship and workmanship of God
Practice the word of God
Have faith in the word

Most gracious father, I will continue to love and practice the word. From hereafter, I have a new language; and it is being positive minded at all times in name of Jesus.
