
To kick off 2014 and his 10th year anniversary in the Music Industry since his first hit 'Tongolo' (What is the Koko), Multi-Award Winning artist D'Banj prepares to release brand new single and video 'Bother You' which is the first official soundtrack of the new HOLLYWOOD hit movie HALF OF A YELLOW SUN.
'Half of a Yellow Sun' is an adaptation of the best selling novel written by Chimamanda Adichie and is directed Biyi Bandele.
The movie tells the story of two sisters, Olanna and Kainene during the Biafran war and the effects of the conflicts on their lives and the lives of everyone around them. 


Half of a Yellow Sun which premiered last year in Toronto at the Toronto Film Festival features Oscar nominee and British Independent Film Awards winner, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Africa Movie Award winner Genevieve Nnaji, BAFTA Awards winner, Thandie Newton, Nigeria's X Factor judge, Legendary Musician and African Movie Academy Awards winner Onyeka Onwenu, Gemini Awards nominee Hakeem Kae-Kazim, African Movie Academy Awards winner O.C Ukeje and more! The much-anticipated movie is scheduled for release worldwide in March 2014. 


'Bother You' is a love song inspired by the love story in the movie. The music video was shot in South Africa and produced by God Father Productions and DKM Media. The music video collates footage taken from the movie -Half of a Yellow Sun.
The very talented award-winning singer/entertainer is set to release the video on Monday the 20 th of January 2014, 6pm GMT.
In other news, D'B anj is also co-executive producing the Soundtrack album for Half of a Yellow Sun alongside Yewande Sadiku working with the legendary Onyeka Onwenu who also played the amazing role of Chiwetel Ejiofor's mother in the movie – 'Half of a Yellow Sun.'
