Management of Ghanaian international event company, Divino Event Organization, have this week announced Friday 30thAugust 2013 as the launch date for The Africa Italy Excellence Awards 2013.

Now in its third year, The Africa Italy Excellence Awards 2013 is a scheme to recognize and celebrate African professionals living in Italy as well as Italian individuals and organizations contributing to the development of African economies.

Previously known as The Ghana Italy Excellence Awards, the scheme has been rebranded after two successful editions.

According to the Chief Operations Officer, Ms. Freda Cooper, 'the rebranding has become necessary due to the popularity of the awards within the African communities across Italy. From this year, other Africans aside Ghanaians will be awarded'.

At a successful event last year at the North Italian city of Brescia in the Lombadia region, a total of 21 awards were given out to Individuals and organizations which had excelled in the year under review.
