
Truly, truly good people do not live for long to harvest the good seeds they have sown.
The late Paul Zamana was born on the 21st August 1978 at Najong N01, a village in the Bunkpurugu-Yunyoo District of the Northern Region.
He lived with his Parents, Margaret Kombat and Chamber Alex Zamana until his untimely death on the 11th of June, 2013 at the Korle-bu Teaching hospital in Accra.
Paul Zamana immediately accepted Christ as his personal lord and savior in accordance with the beliefs of the Christian religious faith. He was baptized by Rev Thompson Tonlaar at the Central Assemblies of God Church in Tamale.
Paul Zamana after his JHS went to St Charles Minor Seminary Secondary School and completed in the year, 1997/8, in the same year he entered the Tamale Training College (TATCO) and completed as a Professional Teacher in the year 2001. He taught at Choggu Demonstration JHS for a number of years.
As an inspiring young man, Paul continued his Education at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) where he studied Sociology (Social Science) from 2003 to 2007, after attaining his first Degree, he worked at the Tamale Teaching hospital and later gained employment with the USAID INDOOR RISIDUAL SPRAY PROGRAMME (IRS) as an Information Education and Communication Assistant (IEC) in 2010 at the East Mamprusi District. Through his hard work, he was promoted as Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator for the Bunkpurugu/Yunyoo District with the same NGO.
While holding this position, Paul was pursuing Exercutive MBA Programme at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). This is a programme he had invested so much Time, Energy and Money into it.
Before his Departure on the 11th of June, 2013, he requested for a pen and paper from his wife to defer his MBA Course at KNUST. After signing he told us not to worry as he will soon recover and continue the course. Life begins at forty. '' So they say, but why? Have you left us before forty?.
Paul Zamana got married to Cecilia Duut (A Trained Teacher from Bagabag Training College) on 6th August 2011at Nakpanduri. God blessed their marriage with a Baby girl by name Emmanuelle Pakinyennu Zamana on the 10th January 2013; unfortunately Emmaulla lasted only four (4) Months, one week and left us on the 17th May 2013(May her soul rest in perfect peace).
Master Paul as your students usually call you, why couldn't you resist but peacefully responded to the ultimate call by God. You fought a good fight, as you kept assuring Dad and your wife including all those who visited you that you would soon recover.
Paul was a man of sincerity and sense of humility, his modesty of life and passion for counseling is highly commendable.
We as your family and believers in Christ Jesus know that we shall meet you again in heaven.
