A Businessman and personal development coach, Samuel Jonathan says though resolutions are important, people should not necessarily wait till the end of the year to set goals. He says change must take place immediately if identified.
He was speaking to Ultimate Radio's Bernard Buachi on why New Year Resolutions fail in many instances.
He says people break their resolutions for a variety of reasons chief among them being that they do not build the right influences around themselves to motivate them towards the achievement of those goals. He also says many people do things out of obligation instead of a sense of commitment.
Samuel Jonathan emphasized that “You cannot improve what you do not monitor, and you cannot monitor what you do not measure.”
He challenges people to constantly question themselves on their habits and actions in order to set relevant and achievable goals.
In Ghana, many people set for themselves what has become known as New Year Resolutions on the last day of the year or on the first day of the New Year.
