Human Resource Firm, L' AINE Services Limited has launched a new magazine to promote professional standards in the fields of marketing and media.

Mrs. Ellen Hagan, the Chief Executive of L'AINE Services and the CIMG Marketing Woman of the year who was at the event expressed optimism that the success stories of the Institute will be told through this magazine.

She said the new magazine, like the HR Focus which was launched some years ago, will provide insightful and thought provoking marketing practices to help companies better their marketing and communications strategies.

The maiden edition of the magazine featured Mrs. Shola Safo-Duodo, President of CIMG on the cover page. Other personalities featured in the MM Focus include Mr. Asare Akuffo, CEO of HFC Bank, Mr. Richmond Asante, Head of Marketing, Cadbury Ghana, and Kojo Oppong Nkrumah of Joy FM fame.

The new magazine was unveiled by Dr. Joyce Aryee, Founder and Executive Director of Salt and Light Ministries, Mrs. Shola Safo-Duodo, President of CIMG, Mr. James Boateng, MD of Cadbury Ghana, Mr. Charles Ofori Acquah, Executive Director of HFC Bank in charge of Business Development and Mrs. Ellen Hagan.

Funds realised at the launch was donated to CIMG as L'AINE's contribution towards the building of the school for the Institute.

In an unrelated development, Mrs. Hagan Hagan advised students of the Methodist University College to force themselves into action and be bold to take on responsibilities.

To be successful in today's competitive market, she said, “learning to overcome your fear of failure should be at the top of your training list”.

She gave admonishing when she attended this year's Barcamp which was held at the Methodist University College campus as a “success mentor”.

The event was aimed at bringing together young Ghanaians and others interested in Ghana for a day of dialogue, discussions and demos.

It was on the theme: “Removing the Fear of Failure as a Start of Success.”

It was part of L'AINE's corporate social responsibility to develop the youth and Mrs. Hagan was the “success mentor” for the occasion.
