Four former elite campaigners will be engaged in the Division One League play-offs for places in next season's Premier League while eight debutants will be seeking to qualify.
Real Tamale United, King Faisal, Bofoakwa Tano and Sekondi Hasaacas are among the list of 12 clubs that will strut it out when the qualifiers begin this weekend across the country for three premiership places.
The 12 clubs have been drawn into three zones of four each to begin the promotion campaign for three places in the more lucrative premier league.
The winners after three rounds of matches over an eight-day period from every group make it to the topflight league.
Real Tamale United and King Faisal, both relegated from the elite division last season are seeking to make a quick return after just a season in the second-tier league.
