
The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has directed the Bank of Ghana (BoG) to freeze the accounts of National Democratic Congress (NDC) financier, , according to snippets of information.
This forms part of investigations by the EOCO into circumstances that led to the payment of GHc58 million judgement debt to the NDC guru.
President John Evans Atta Mills ordered for investigations into the Woyome saga after the NDC stalwart recently made news headlines for winning GHc58 million judgement debt as compensation for what he said was the abrogation of a contract by the erstwhile Kufuor-administration.
Meanwhile, sources close to Mr woyome have confirmed the incident but declined further comments.
