Accra , May 27, GNA – The National Appeals Board of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has recommended that the parliamentary primaries in Atwima Kwanwuma and the North Tongu in the Ashanti and Volta Region should be re-run.
A statement signed by Mr Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, General Secretary, and received by the GNA on Friday said details for the re-run would be announced in due cause.
It said in the case of Okaikoi South it did not uphold the petition against the election results but recommended that “further checks and enquiries be made on a pending petition”.
The petitions were lodged with the National Appeals Board headed by Mr Odoi Sykes, former National Chairman.
