Dzodze, Dec 25, GNA-An articulated truck moving towards Aflao from Ho on Wednesday veered off the road at Dzodze and rammed a store killing two people instantly.
Three others are in critical condition at the Saint Anthony's Hospital at Dzodze.
The accident occurred at the vicinity of the Dzodze District Police Headquarters.
Mr Akwasi Asafo-Agyei, Dzodze District Police Commander told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the driver of the truck with registration number GR 7404 P might be trying to avoid hitting a pedestrian but lost control and rammed the store.
He said the two dead were the pedestrians whose name was not immediately available.
Mr Akwasi-Agyei said Ibrahim Osman, 43, driver of the truck and his mate whose name was not also available were unconscious while Ivy Dedzoe and Caleb Kuneku were treated and discharged.
He said another victim; Getrude Bedzrah had her two legs fractured.
