Desmond Ayim-Aboagye, The Professor with a Curious Mind.

Desmond Ayim-Aboagye, The Professor with a Curious Mind.

The problems in this modern world are such disturbing that only few people have time to concentrate and philosophise on them. Apart from the daily chores that are engaged in by individual persons in the home environment, there are numerous assignments people engage in during their office hours as well as encounter in their contacts with colleagues they meet outside the work place. This is why most academic people have no adequate time to think about disturbing things that concern their country or the global world for that matter.

I have known Professor Ayim-Aboagye for several years and ever since we came into contact, I have learned a lot from him. He is a man that has sincere interest of his country and not only that, but he also has the problems of the world on his mind. For the past three years his three books that he had published on Lulu Com by the Lulu Press or Enterprise United Kingdom had important information for the people of Africa and the world a whole. These three books which are entitled 1) The New Facade. Ghana in the Next Millennium. Political Discourses on Ghana and Africa, 2) The Security of Nations: A Psychological Perspective on Modern Theory of War, and 3) War Psychiatry: Contemporary Theories on War Disorders and Other Related Conditions (WWW. Lulu.Com). All these books published this year is an illustration of his burning desire to make the world a better place. Very few academicians have this urge to set things right in the universe in order for mankind to enjoy order, peace, and stability.

As I write this article about him I have had the intention to not portray him as the best in every thing, rather I see this professor as a dedicated researcher who had outpaced his contemporary in the manner he makes research relevant to the modern society. He is a man of many talents and has the mind that equals many of the giant philosophers of the past, including the Ancient Greeks philosophers. His first book on theories regarding discrimination not only touches on this subject but goes further to provide the contemporary civilisation about how to live and adapt to the challenging problems of the modern world. I was very much enthralled with his diverse manners he perceives the need to help mankind end the barbaric wars, which the Homo sapiens Albinos had used to deceive the world inhabitants, and had successfully acquired most of the rich properties of the weaker nations through force. He calls attention to this vice which the world-educated people had been silent about and also the manipulating activities, which the Albinos had falsely employed to elevate themselves above all other human beings. The success of his work stems from the fact that he did not leave out the mentioning of the problems the religious people had caused to the world. These people had been hurt because they spent too much of their precious time analysing only the books (dreams and hallucination experiences) which unlettered and ignorant individuals who lived many centuries on earth scribbled down. In order to account for their hallucinatory experiences with some gods/God thought of inhabiting the outer space in the solar system, they had neglected many valuable books that introduce human beings how to think productively. Their lack of critical thinking had caused so many of them to become followers of deviant religions and sects operating in seclusion. Just imagine if the North American Indians laws, which were written so many centuries ago are now to be used to replace the present laws of the modern United States of America. This will generate chaotic situation in the society. And many people shall be offended by this approach to employ the laws of the primitive people that lived so many centuries ago who had no education, did not comprehend nature well, and had no knowledge of logic to steer the affairs. It simply will not work!

Professor Ayim-Aboagye's call to the world Christians to relinquish these naive interpretations and to concentrate wholly on the brotherly love is something that looks revolutionary but sounds intelligible. Apart from this solemn calling of the world to embrace love for one another, he entreats the Albinos to relinquish this evil behaviour of war. The world is ripe to leave these barbaric wars behind in order to build a better future for mankind.
