Bibiani (WR), Mar 7, GNA - Mr. Moses Kofi Armah, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai, has urged the youth not to engage in self-destructive acts that could destroy their life.
He has also urged Ghanaians to collectively support the nation's development agenda being pursued by the Government.
Mr. Armah was addressing school children at the 53rd independence anniversary celebration parade at Bibiani.
The DCE said the district needs peace and development which he indicated would come through unity of purpose.
Prizes were presented to schools that excelled in the march past while students and pupils who performed well in academic, sports and cultural programmes organized by the District Education Directorate received certificates and prizes.
Similar parades were held at Nyinahin in the Atwima-Mponua district.
