Debutant Edubiase United halted league leaders Kessben FC 2-1 at the Len Clay Sports Stadium in the Glo Premier League.

Nuhu Fuseini and Seidu Bamson scored the two goals for Edubiase United in each half respectively.

James Boadu gave Kessben some hope by pulling one back.

Asante Kotoko suffered their second defeat of the campaign. Tanko Mohammed's 11th minute header gave Heart of Lions the much-needed win to move to fourth-place.

Samad Oppong was red-carded in the second half for a ruthless challenge on his marker.

Hearts of Oak bounced back after their mid-week loss to Aduana Stars in a 2-1 win over Chelsea of Bechem at the Cape-Coast Park.

Obed Ansah nicked a goal on the stroke of half-time before Tua Khemis added the second in the 49th minute.

Chelsea reduced the deficit in the 81st minute through Kankani Salifu who profited from a rebound.

Francis Aggrey converted a penalty for Berekum Arsenals to beat a 9-man AshantiGold 2-1 at the Golden City Park.

Aggrey gave the homesters the lead before Euguene Owusu drew level.

King Faisal who began the weekend without head coach Isaac Opeele Boateng lost 1-2 to All Stars at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Ofosu Mickey gave Faisal the lead in the 8th minute and Nathaniel Asamoah grabbed a brace to seal it for the visitors.

Real Tamale United fought hard to seal a 3-2 victory over Great Olympics with Abdul Aziz Yusif getting a brace for the home team.

Liberty Professionals compounded the woes of Eleven Wise with a 2-0 win at the Karl Reindorf Park in Dansoman.
