
About 28 thousand voters in Chereponi in the Northern Region will be voting in a bye-election on the 29th of this month to elect a member of Parliament.
This follows the death of the Member of Parliament, (MP) of the area Mrs. Doris Siedu.
In an interview with Radio Ghana, the Director of Public Relations at the EC, Christian Owusu-Parry, disclosed that printing of ballot papers, as well as notices of poll will begin on the 17th of this month.
He was optimistic that the elections will be violence free as the EC has started discussions with Party officials. He spoke to Bright Ntramah.
