Aworowa (B/A), July 27, GNA – Nana Frempah Quarshie, Chairman of Aworowa Town council, has urged revenue collectors to redouble efforts to mobilize more revenue for the accelerated development of the area.
He said the council could only initiate and complete more development projects in the communities with adequate funds.
Nana Quarshie, who is the Chief of Ayeasu in Techiman municipality, said at a meeting with members of the council at Aworowa at the weekend.
The Aworowa Town Council was recently inaugurated with a 20-member executive.
Nana Quarshie appealed to the councillors to work hard to justify their selection by stepping up revenue mobilization, especially basic property rates.
He advised the councillors not to meddle their work with partisan politics.
