English Premier League side Liverpool have released Ghana-born center-back Godwin Antwi alongside Ronald Huth, Miki Roque and Gary MacKay-Steven.
The 21-year-old has failed to break into the Liverpool first team squad since joining the Reds from Spanish side Real Zaragoza in August 2005.
Antwi was member of the Asante Kotoko youth side and has enjoyed successful loan spells with four teams in the English lower divisions.
The former Spanish under 19 youngster was directed to Accrington Stanley in the League Two on a month loan deal to accustome himself to the english game.
Antwi also had a loan stint with Hartlepool United, Tranmere Rovers and Hereford United.
The tall-lanky powerful center-half helped Liverpool's reserve side to lift The FA Youth Cup in 2006 playing as a striker.
Accrington Stanley manager John Coleman is keen to land a permanent deal with the Ghanaian.
