The National Tripartite Committee will reconvene
on Wednesday, March 11, to resume consultations on the determination of the National Daily Minimum Wage for 2009.
The NTC convened on Wednesday to start the negotiations following the submission of a report by the Technical Sub-Committee to the Minister for Employment and Social Welfare.
In a statement signed by Mr Stephen Amoanor Kwao, Minister for Employment and Social Welfare, Alex Frimpong, Acting Executive Director Ghana Employers' Association and Kofi Asamoah, Secretary General Ghana Trades Union Congress, the social partners agreed to continue with the consultations.
