Ashgold thrash Zaytuna 3-0

Obuasi Ashanti Gold managed to collect the maximum three points with a convincing and emphatic 3-0 thrashing of Zaytuna United in the 24th Week Onetouch Premier League match at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports stadium on Wednesday.
Nathaniel Quaye opened the scores for Ashgold in the 14th minute and held on to their thin lead till the end of the first half.
Skipper Richard Awuah raised his side's goal tally to two in the 50th minute while Emmanuel Adjetey made it three nil five minutes later.
Zaytuna however made last minutes effort in search of at least a consolation good goal keeping by Ashgold's James Nanor thwarted all their efforts before Aflao-based referee Frank Fusi brought proceedings to an end.
