Youth Commissioner of the NDC ProForum and former Ho Central parliamentary aspirant, Dr Robert Kofi Doh, has extended his best wishes to teachers across the country as they begin writing their 2026 promotional examinations.
In a goodwill message titled “To All Esteemed Teachers”, Dr Doh encouraged the candidates to approach the examinations with confidence, expressing hope that their years of dedication and commitment to teaching would be reflected in their performance.
“May your hard work and years of dedication in the classroom shine through in every answer and your efforts crowned with success,” he said.
He added: “Go Excel! Rooting for your success!”
Dr Doh, who has recently engaged various professional groups through his outreach activities and supported youth-focused community initiatives in the Ho Central Constituency, described teachers as essential contributors to national development.
Some teachers taking part in the examinations have welcomed the message, describing the gesture as an encouragement as they pursue career advancement.
The Ghana Education Service (GES) is conducting the 2026 promotion examinations in 3 batches. Candidates for Director I and Director II are scheduled to write on Monday, November 2, while Assistant Director II and Principal Superintendent candidates will sit for their examinations on Tuesday, November 3.
The final batch, comprising Assistant Director I and Deputy Director candidates, is expected to write on Wednesday, November 4.
The examinations are designed to assess candidates’ professional knowledge and their ability to apply leadership and management skills in their respective positions.
The exercise also highlights the importance of continuous professional development among teachers and educational leaders, whose duties extend beyond classroom instruction to include school administration, supervision, policy implementation and efforts to improve learning outcomes.
