The Member of Parliament for Bekwai Constituency, Hon. Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei, has donated GH¢5,000 to support an anniversary project of the Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Church at Mensase as the congregation celebrates its 50th anniversary.
The donation was made on Saturday, October 31, 2026, when the MP, accompanied by his party executives led by Constituency Chairman Kwasi Fred, joined the leadership and members of the church to commemorate the historic milestone.
The financial support is expected to contribute towards the successful execution of the church's anniversary project, demonstrating the MP's commitment to supporting religious institutions and community development initiatives within the Bekwai Constituency.
The gesture was warmly received by the church leadership, who expressed appreciation for the MP's support and offered fervent prayers for God's continued guidance, protection and blessings upon him.
The church leaders also wished Hon. Poku-Adusei well, acknowledging his contributions and efforts towards the development of the Bekwai Constituency.
The 50th anniversary celebration provided an opportunity for the church to reflect on five decades of spiritual growth, service to humanity and contributions to the development of the Mensase community.
Hon. Ralph Poku-Adusei's donation further underscores the importance of collaboration between political leaders, religious institutions and local communities in advancing development and supporting social causes.
