Do African Governments understand the importance of National Image and Dangers of Lies against a Nation?

Do African Governments understand the importance of National Image and Dangers of Lies against a Nation?

Speedy Repentance Matters and it must include Amendment and Proclamation, as per ch.2:160.

What would be the headline news tomorrow per newspapers, radios, Televisions, etc ? Would an official statement from the government be published ? If wrong negative information about president Barrow, opposition Darboe+, Bensouda, Minister Ceesay+, the point newspaper, QTV, etc was on multiple websites on the internet, you would have all likely fought back with speed, because it directly affects you. So when a wrong negative information about the Gambia is on multiple sites, I expect those who truly care about the Gambia or even truth to understand the importance of Speedy Repentance or 'exhorting each other to truth...' as per ch.103. Without our actions, that chapter is suggesting we are among the lost until we fulfill at least our part. Google AI and many sites are claiming about 181 murders in one year for tiny Gambia. Impossible! The Gambia is among the most peaceful countries in Africa and the world. We likely have under 20 murders per year for the past ten years. I also demand other journalists to check their respective countries because allowing such lies may be worse than allowing a wrong map-size for Africa.

Although a big chunk of the rectification is primarily the responsibility of the central government, I think the mediahouses have a secondary responsibility and should initiate and push the government to action. Information rectification can certainly be under 24 hours , especially with speedy AI ...

All mediahouses can contact multiple ministries and even the president to care about Gambia's image, not just his personal image. As said in an earlier short post, such information can affect our tourism, investments, etc.

It is no secret that President Barrow was/is my friend or 'ex-friend'. I personally knew President Barrow well before his presidency. However, I was also a writer of truth long before, so I cannot spare him where he should act with speed. My point is if I am risking my friendship with Barrow, publicly urging him to act, all of us should understand I do not necessarily hate Barrow, but love the Gambia and truth. I joke about the ex-friend status because he does not reach out to me and I hardly reach out to him. I only visited Barrow twice since he took the presidency, both were for our national interest in a way I believe was above our questionable ministers. When I defend Barrow publicly, some people think it is because of our 'distant' friendship and ignore where I criticise Barrow before our top journalists and opposition leaders; when I criticise him, those close to him or even my family get angry sometimes... At the end of the day, if we act right and rectify what is evidently wrong negative information -- thousands to millions more tourists or one million to billions of dollars of new investments may help Barrow and the mediahouses before it may indirectly help me...

Demand our minister/ministry of information to understand his Job is not just to praise President Barrow for votes but to help the image of the Gambia truthfully. We should not lie for the Gambia or any country, but also never allow others to lie against the Gambia. Let him contact his fellow ministers and rectify the lie or questionable information. The outside world can sometimes forward excuses. Some of those sites are claiming data based on 2015, which is before president Barrow took office. However, even then, I truly doubt if the numbers were that much, even if we include the extrajudicial killings of ex-president Jammeh. 181 'intentional homicides' in one year they claim against tiny Gambia . Ask the ministers when they last submitted their figures and what is their plan to those who lie against the Gambia. A potential tourist debating between Ghana, Thailand, and the Gambia may not check all details. If AI and multiple sites are falsely claiming similar numbers, plus no challenging information from the government and others, then false facts become 'facts' until challenged and/or rectified. The numbers in our prisons and many things clearly show the claimed numbers are wrong, inflated. They also use 'submitted' by the--so submit new information and consider suing any defiant site. Did a 'stupid' minister or xyz fill the form wrongly, including deadly vehicle accidents and drownings as 'homicides'?

Ask all opposition leaders similar questions. Although I hope and pray Barrow acts diligently with speed, or let the opposition start campaigning such against him. You didn't know is a weak excuse, how fast and how well he reacts is the test in question. I am still an undecided voter, because conscience or God matters to me. I have repeatedly shown where the opposition are clearly weak and sometimes worse than Barrow... They may over politicise such, but let us focus on the fix.

Once multiple strong rectifications are made, they will adjust. Use the last year's number and demand updating numbers within one month, every year. Every single sane Gambian knows the numbers are wrong, it affects us all, God loves truth. So let us repent towards truth and make the Gambia even more peaceful. No fighting or murder over elections, money, sex, etc. If Barrow lied on the numbers for image, all or most Gambian media houses would have confronted him; now that multiple 'liars' or mistaken folks are caught against all of us, which mediahouses may be indifferent? I do want you to publish this as a minor article, but demanding you write and work hard behind the scenes. May God help the Gambia and humankind regardless of who gets elected.
