Bosomtwe Boys STEM Senior High School in the Ashanti Region has been adjudged overall champion in the 2026 Ghana Robotics Championship.
The school emerged as a national champion in the keenly contested competition, which featured over 100 schools across Ghana.

Following their victory, the school presented its trophy to the Ashanti Regional Education Directorate on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
Speaking at the presentation, the Headmaster of the school, Mr. Kwaku Yeboah Snr, said the school won two major honours, including Best Robot Controller and Overall Best School.

He explained that the four-day competition, held at the University of Ghana, saw students competing in 64 different contests.

"Out of the 64 contests, our school won two trophies. The first is the best controller of robots. Getting the robot to complete the task and reach the target is a bit challenging, but our boys delivered," he stated.

He expressed gratitude to the Regional Education Directorate, students, teachers and all stakeholders who contributed to the success.

Speaking on behalf of the Education Directorate, the Human Resource Manager, Michael Osei Amanfo, commended the school for its exploits.
He pledged the Directorate's support to the school, adding that the Education Directorate will ensure the school gets the needed technical and material assistance as it does for every school.
