Philanthropist donates refrigerator, voltage regulator to Ho Market Fire Post

The Ho Market Fire Post of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has received a new WESTPOINT refrigerator and a voltage regulator from philanthropist Mr Francis Aba to improve the welfare of personnel stationed at the facility.

The donation is expected to enhance the safe storage of food and beverages, promote proper hygiene and create a more conducive working environment for officers on duty.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Service, the Officer-in-Charge of the Ho Market Fire Post, ADO II Dorcas Amegbor, expressed gratitude to Mr Aba for the gesture, describing it as a timely intervention that addresses the practical needs of fire personnel.

She commended the philanthropist for his continued interest in the welfare of officers, noting that such support helps improve working conditions and motivates personnel to perform their duties effectively.

The donation also highlights the role of individuals and corporate organisations in supporting public institutions and strengthening their ability to deliver essential services to the public.

Mr Aba has previously supported the Ghana National Fire Service. On Monday, January 19, 2025, he donated 25 mattresses to the Volta Regional Command to improve the living conditions of officers.

His latest contribution adds to his support for fire service personnel and reflects his commitment to assisting institutions responsible for community safety and emergency response.

The command has expressed appreciation to Mr Aba and encouraged other individuals and organisations to emulate his example by supporting essential service providers.
