The newly elected National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. John Boadu, has been hailed as a human‑centred, unifying, humble and mature politician who is capable of steering the party back to power in the 2028 general elections.
This endorsement comes from Mr. Paul Kwabena Yandoh, the former Communications Director of the Ashanti Regional NPP and a former Ashanti Regional Campaign Team official for former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with the correspondent, King Amoah, following Mr. Boadu’s electoral victory, Mr. Yandoh emphasized that the win was not a product of magic but rather a direct result of Mr. Boadu’s proven track record, which convinced delegates to vote massively for him.
Highlighting Mr. Boadu’s extensive service across various ranks within the party, Mr. Yandoh noted that his organizational acumen played a pivotal role in securing two consecutive presidential victories for former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo‑Addo.
Mr. Paul Kwabena Yandoh recalled how Mr. Boadu’s effective grassroots mobilization and conflict‑resolution skills successfully rallied aggrieved party members, ultimately ensuring two terms in office for the Akufo‑Addo administration.
Mr. Yandoh expressed strong confidence that with the party electing “the people’s choice” in the person of John Boadu, Ghanaians will witness Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s ascension to the Flagstaff House as the next President of Ghana in 2028.
To ensure that these goals are realized, Mr. Yandoh issued a passionate call to all NPP supporters to bury their differences and rally solidly behind the newly elected National Chairman to enhance the party’s winning chances in the 2028 elections.

Ghanaians are not going to give the NPP that chance because they know their efforts to come to power are to stop corruption investigations and free their politically corrupt prisoners. That will not h...
