A woman who was captured touching the forehead of a young singer during a prayer session has explained that her actions were based on instructions given by the pastor leading the programme.
The incident reportedly occurred during a prayer session organised by MP Nation, where the woman was accused by some attendees of taking something from the forehead of the young singer. The action reportedly sparked an angry reaction from some people at the venue, who questioned her intentions.
However, speaking about the incident, the woman, who is a mother of five, denied any intention to harm the young singer and explained that she was simply following the instructions given to participants during the prayer session.
According to her, those present at the programme were instructed to take money, pray over it and subsequently place it on the young singer’s forehead as part of the prayer activity.
“They told everyone at the programme centre to take money, pray over it and put it on the young singer’s forehead. It wasn't something intentional or something bad. I wouldn't do that by myself. I also have five kids,” she explained.
She stressed that she would not deliberately engage in an act intended to cause harm to another person, particularly because she also has children and understands the importance of protecting young people.
