Newly elected New Patriotic Party (NPP) Upper East Regional Chairman, Elvis Figo Awonekai, has advised party delegates in the region not to participate in a research exercise being conducted by pollster Mussa Dankwah and Global InfoAnalytics.
In a brief message addressed to “Fellow NPP Delegates from the Upper East,” Mr Awonekai urged delegates to refrain from taking part in the research.
"You are kindly advised not to participate in the research conducted by Musah Dankwah and Global Info Analytics.”
He concluded the message by thanking delegates for their attention.
Mr Awonekai was elected NPP Upper East Regional Chairman at the party’s regional executive elections held on August 15, 2026. He secured 177 votes to defeat Dr Moses Kwabena Atinga, who polled 123 votes.
The Chairman’s advisory, however, does not state the reason for asking delegates to stay away from the research.
Global InfoAnalytics, led by Mussa Dankwah, has conducted political opinion research in Ghana, including studies involving NPP delegates and their considerations in selecting party presidential candidates.
