Police arrest Klo-Agogo SHS accounts clerk over alleged defilement of female student

Police at Obawale in the Yilo Krobo Municipality have arrested a 41-year-old accounts clerk of Klo-Agogo Senior High School, Mr Saviour Attor, for allegedly defiling a 15-year-old female Junior High School student.

According to the victim, the suspect allegedly sent her to purchase a sachet of water before forcibly engaging her in unprotected sexual intercourse.

Following the incident, the suspect was arrested and subsequently handed over to the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) for further investigation.

In his cautioned statement, Mr Attor reportedly admitted to having sexual intercourse with the victim at his residence.

The investigation is ongoing.
