To commemorate the 4th anniversary of the passing of renowned media personality Ras Muta, who died in 2022 after several years of distinguished media practice, the Ras Muta Foundation has constructed and handed over a newly built 4-seater WC facility to Denu Chicago School in the Volta Region.
The project, according to the Foundation, forms part of its commitment to supporting communities and improving sanitation, health and the wellbeing of schoolchildren.
"The new facility is expected to provide students with a safer, cleaner and more hygienic environment," the Foundation noted.
In addition to the sanitation project, the Foundation also distributed branded exercise books to pupils of the school to support their educational needs.
The items were presented by the Chief Executive Officer of the Ras Muta Foundation, Mr. Seth Dellings Nyasorgbor, popularly known as Sizzlaone.
Mr. Nyasorgbor emphasized the Foundation's dedication to sustaining Ras Muta's legacy, saying, "We are committed to keeping the legacy and values of Ras Muta alive through meaningful community interventions."
The Foundation further expressed appreciation to the school authorities, teachers, students, supporters and all stakeholders who contributed to making the initiative a success, noting that the handover formed a key part of activities commemorating four years since the passing of Ras Muta through practical acts of service and community development.
