The University of Ghana (UG) has released its undergraduate admissions for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The University has advised applicants to check their admission status through its official admissions portal.
In a notice issued by the Director of Academic Affairs, Lydia Anowa Nyako-Danquah, the university cautioned applicants against individuals who claim they can influence the admission process or secure admission in exchange for money, gifts or favours.
“No person or intermediary can influence the admission process. Any request for payment, gifts, or favours in exchange for admission is a scam and should be reported immediately," the notice read in part.
The University said an Admissions Assistance Desk will be available to support applicants with enquiries and admission-related assistance.
The desk, operated by the Admissions Office under the Academic Affairs Directorate, will be located at the Sports and Wellness Directorate from Thursday, September 17, to Friday, October 2.
It will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
The University urged applicants to use its official channels for information and assistance throughout the admissions process.
