The New Life Bible College, in affiliation with the New Life Bible College and Seminary-USA, has successfully held its 11th Graduation and Holy Convocation Ceremony, celebrating the academic and spiritual achievements of its graduating class.
The ceremony, held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Consecration of True Joy Church at Ejisu-Krapa Bronikrom, brought together academic leaders, clergy, graduates, family members and congregants.
Held under the theme “Called to Serve and Not to Be Served,” the ceremony highlighted the importance of servant leadership, humility, sacrifice and dedication in Christian ministry.
The occasion was hosted by Hon. Bishop Dr. Hamidu Adamu, Founder of the Consecration of True Joy Church.
Addressing the graduates, Bishop Hamidu described graduation as a reward for the efforts they had put into their spiritual training and for successfully completing the various stages of their studies.
He congratulated the graduates on the conferment of their degrees and charged them to work hard in whatever they do, reminding them that their training comes with a responsibility to serve God and humanity.
He further urged them to be patient with all people and to take advantage of opportunities to invest in the Kingdom of God.
Bishop Hamidu stressed that Christian leadership should be expressed through genuine service, declaring that “service to man is service to God.”
Call for Servant Leadership
Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Godfred Andoh, CEO of St. Georgina Health Care and Consultancy, urged members of the clergy and Christian leaders to understand that they had been called to serve rather than to be served.
Drawing inspiration from Scripture, Dr. Andoh encouraged Christian leaders to prioritise humility, sacrifice and service to God and humanity instead of seeking positions for personal honour or privilege.
The 11th Graduation and Holy Convocation therefore marked a significant milestone in the lives of the graduates while reinforcing the New Life Bible College's commitment to training Christian leaders who are academically prepared and spiritually equipped to contribute meaningfully to the Church and society.
