The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, alias Asanteman COKA, has called out the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for failing to fulfil promises made to market women.
According to him, the NDC, after promising a Special Bank to support women in their trading activities, has woefully failed after almost two years in office.
He noted traders cannot trust a party that keeps lying its way to power.
Asanteman COKA said this when he donated chop boxes and trunks to needy students preparing for Senior High School education at the Racecourse Market on Wednesday.
"The NDC told us they were bringing a bank for women, till date, the promised bank has never materialised. Obviously, they have lied to us," he said.
"We have sold our colour television for a black and white, I believe it is time for us to change the NDC to ensure traders in the region get the support they deserve."
Asanteman COKA urged traders to support Dr. Bawumia's quest to become President, adding that the NPP will support traders when they win power.
