The fifth International Customer Service Summit will take place on October 2 at the La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, opening Customer Service Week Ghana and Africa 2026.
For five years, ICUSS has been convened by Priscilla M. Wellington, Founder and CEO of Customer Service Africa, TEDx Accra speaker and originator of the "Attitude Is Your Currency" philosophy. The summit was built on the conviction that service is not a support-desk function but the leadership and culture discipline that separates thriving institutions from stagnant ones.
ICUSS 2026 marks a significant milestone, with what began as a call to action evolving into a continental standard. The summit will bring together senior executives, policymakers and practitioners for what organisers describe as the definitive gathering for leaders who understand that customer experience is the ultimate differentiator.
"This anniversary is not about celebrating our past, but about arming Africa's leaders for the future," said Priscilla M. Wellington. "We have spent five years proving that culture dictates performance. In 2026, we are taking that proof to the boardroom, exploring how the human element of service is the only sustainable advantage in a rapidly automating world."
The summit will feature a high-level CEO Perspectives Panel and the Customer-Centric Leadership Recognition ceremony, marking five years of honouring those who champion the customer's voice.
Event organisers said ICUSS 2026 is not merely a one-day event but the flagship launch of a week dedicated to service excellence across the continent. Delegates will leave with actionable frameworks, a network of peers and a renewed understanding of how organisational culture drives their bottom line.
The theme for this year's edition is "Beyond Technology: Why Culture and Attitude Decide AI ROI."
The sponsors and partners include Iserd, La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, GUBa, Green Trek Tours, Afrimass, Repute-Burson, Graphic Business, Joy FM, Joy Business, MyJoyOnline, GBC, Soul Impact, Sazian Specialist Clinic, Ellaven Consult, GHATOF, GTA and GTDC.
"These organisations have demonstrated outstanding support for the Customer Service Summit," said Priscilla M. Wellington. "Their partnership reflects a strong understanding that excellent customer service is essential for building trust, loyalty and sustainable growth across every sector."
Registration is now open for senior leaders and teams. For more information, visit customerserviceafrica.com.
