Community health school graduates 380 students, seven earn first-class honours

The Community Health School has held its graduation ceremony, bringing together students, parents, school authorities, traditional leaders and other distinguished guests to celebrate the achievements of the graduating students.

A total of 380 students graduated from the institution, with seven students earning First Class honours. The outstanding graduates comprised four males and three females.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Principal of the Community Health School, Hajia Habiba Nyari, expressed her sincere appreciation to parents, students, staff and all stakeholders for their support in making the ceremony a success.

She encouraged the graduating students to remain focused, committed to their education and determined to achieve their goals. She also urged parents to continue supporting their children and appealed to members of the public to encourage more young people to enrol at the school and pursue their education.

Hajia Habiba further stressed the importance of education in building a better future and contributing to the fight against illiteracy. She called on parents to prioritise the education of their children, describing education as a key tool for individual and societal development.

The Chief of Lamashigu, Naa Mohammed Iddrisu, also encouraged the graduates to take their education seriously and remain focused on their studies.

He pledged his support towards the development of the institution and promised to assist in efforts to provide a hostel facility for the school. As part of his support, the Chief presented a cash award to the overall best graduating student in recognition of the student's outstanding academic performance.

The Dean of Students, Hajia Khadija Emmideme Bangnia, expressed pride in the graduating class and wished them success in their future endeavours. She also encouraged continuing students to remain committed to their studies and work hard towards achieving academic excellence.

The overall best graduating student, Issahaku Aminu, urged his colleagues to always remember the purpose for which they enrolled in the institution and remain committed to their education.

He encouraged them to make good use of the opportunities available to them, work hard and remain determined to achieve their personal and professional goals.

Meanwhile, two female graduates, Ahmadu Amina and Yakubu Fahimatu, were adjudged among the best-performing students for their outstanding academic performance.

The ceremony ended with calls on the graduates to uphold the values they acquired during their training and use their knowledge and skills to contribute meaningfully to their communities and the development of society.
