
Two suspected armed robbers have reportedly been killed after personnel of the Ghana Police Service disrupted an alleged robbery operation targeting a branch of GCB Bank at Labone in Accra.
The incident occurred when the suspects allegedly attempted to execute the robbery at the banking facility but were intercepted by police officers who responded to the situation.
A gun battle is said to have followed the encounter, resulting in two of the suspects sustaining fatal gunshot injuries.
The two alleged robbers reportedly died at the scene following the confrontation.
A third suspect was apprehended by the police and taken into custody. He is currently assisting investigators as authorities work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the attempted attack..
