Alfred Tuah-Yeboah congratulates newly elected Sunyani East NPP Executives, calls for unity

Former Deputy Attorney-General and Deputy Minister for Justice, Alfred Tuah-Yeboah, has congratulated the newly elected executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Sunyani East Constituency, urging them to foster unity and work diligently to position the party for victory in the 2028 general elections.

In a congratulatory message issued shortly after the constituency successfully conducted its executive elections yesterday in Sunyani, Mr. Tuah-Yeboah described the outcome as a demonstration of the confidence and trust reposed in the new leadership by party delegates.

"I extend my warmest congratulations to the newly elected executives of the New Patriotic Party, Sunyani East Constituency," he stated.

He called on the executives to lead with commitment, selflessness and a spirit of inclusiveness as they work to strengthen the party's grassroots structures.

Unity is key
"I urge you to lead with unity, commitment and selfless service as we work together to strengthen the party at the grassroots and secure victory for the NPP in 2028. With all-hands-on-deck, Sunyani East shall rise again," he said.

Mr. Tuah-Yeboah pledged his full support to the newly elected executives and the entire constituency, while encouraging unsuccessful contestants not to lose hope.

He said the party would continue to rely on their experience, dedication and energy, stressing that there would be many opportunities for them to contribute to the NPP's growth.

Election outcome
At the close of the elections, Bartholomew Nathaniel Incoom was elected Constituency Chairman. Emmanuel Acheampong and Elijah Bugri were elected as First and Second Vice-Chairmen respectively.

Moses Osei Tutu won the position of Constituency Secretary, with Ebenezer Oteng elected Assistant Secretary, while Gabriel Akoto secured the Treasurer position.

Evans Kyere was elected Constituency Organiser, Salamatu Abdulai won the Women's Organiser position and Nana Owusu was elected Youth Organiser.

The delegates also elected Moro Saliango as Nasara Coordinator and Gideon Amoah Cheremeh as Communications Officer.

The election forms part of the NPP's ongoing internal reorganisation ahead of the 2028 general elections, with the new executives expected to spearhead constituency activities and strengthen the party's structures in Sunyani East.
